Introduction
Credit Management is a major concern to bankers today with the impending implementation of the new Capital adequacy requirements of Basel II. To be well prepared for it one needs to equip oneself with the overall fundamentals of credit management and knowledge in core banking fundamentals. In view of enhancing the knowledge levels of working financial sector employees and potentially qualified candidates, the EIBFS and Hong Kong Institute for bankers are jointly offering the Credit Management program. A joint certificate designated as “Certified in Credit Management” will be awarded upon successful completion of the program.
Program Objective
Banks and financial institutions depend on truly exceptional managers to navigate the challenging landscape and to drive corporate performance. Equipping an employee to take on the responsibilities of credit management, however, can take years of on-job training time that most organizations cannot afford, particularly in today’s volatile market place. The program accelerates the learning process by empowering participants to think broadly, manage globally, and compete strategically. For the participants, this program provides the rare opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills required of today’s Credit professionals.
Methodology
Over ten weeks, participants immerse themselves in the learning process acquiring the skills they need to know about credit management, strategically, and ethically. The program’s proven, multifaceted educational approach fosters the professional, intellectual, and personal development required to work in the credit team of the organization. By examining credit management concepts from different perspectives, participants gain a holistic view of how to align an organization’s strategy and processes to drive results.
Target Participants
Young bankers who like to equip with credit management techniques and skills.The program is designed as a basic program in credit management, and hence all employees working in banks, can enroll in this program, which will offer them additional skills in credit management. Employees working in corporate banking, SME & retail can gain from the classes taken by eminent faculties.
Program Fees
The total fees for the program is AED 7500. The program fee covers tuition, books, case materials, examination and certificate.
Pre-requiste
Applicants are required to have a minimum one year working experience in financial industry or should have completed graduation or EIBFS diploma.
