EIBFS ORGRANIZES A ROUNDTABLE ON WEALTH MANAGEMENT: WINNING STRATEGIES

On June 25th, Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Studies organized a roundtable at its main office in Sharjah, attended by man bank and finance institutions managers.

The round table started at 10:30 am with participants welcoming by Ali Al Shamsi; Head of Finance Section on behalf of H.E. Jamal Al Jassmi, General Manager of the institute, Followed by an overview presented by Mr. Narayana Murthy, Head of Training Dept. in EIBFS. The first session of the round table included a presentation on developing the practice of wealth management in the UAE given by Ms. Serene Al Masri, Advisor Partnership, BNP Paribas, Private Banking Europe & Middle East followed by a discussion. Then a presentation by Mr. Anand Supramanyan, Director & Senior Fin-Advisor, Private BKG, Mashreq Bank, on enhancing Business Capabilities in wealth management.

After the discussion and tea break, the second session commenced with a presentation on "Customized Client Service and Wealth Management given by Mr. Ritrick Ghoshoal, V.P. & Head Products, WM, UAE, Citibank.

Then, Mr. Rama Krishnan V.P. Executive, of Sharjah Islamic Bank presented "the Perspectives of Wealth Management in Islamic Banks, The round table then engaged in an open discussion. Before closing at 1:30 P.M., a summary and concluding remarks were presented by Mr. Narayana Murthy, who thanked the speakers and the participants.
