EIBFS IELTS Preparation Course

Introduction

In line with the new directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and in order to help students improve their English language ability, EIBFS offers IELTS exam preparation courses for students joining the banking diploma. The course runs in April & June.; and allows students to Revise common grammar and language structures Practice the range of question types that are found in the IELTS test. Practice and develop skills in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Cover a range of topics that commonly occur in the IELTS test. Gain tips on how to avoid mistakes and maximize their test marks.

Methodology:

Students are required to attend 4-hour classes, 3 times per week, either in the morning or evening. A core text and supplementary materials are utilized to cover all 4 modules of the IELTS exam (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing). There will also be a large amount of work done on familiarizing students with the types of questions they will face in the exam and tactics for maximizing their marks. Students will be required to prepare assignments and study outside of class hours, via self-study materials and the available computer based learning resources.

Outcomes:

Strict adherence to above methodology (during and outside class hours) is expected to improve individual IELTS test scores by 0.5 to 1 IELTS band.

Important Dates

Course 1

Applications will be accepted from potential students.

April 5^{th -} 10^th Entry Tests will be held.

April 12^th Students will be informed of results and placed in groups.

April 19^th Classes will begin.

June 11^th Classes End.

Week following IELTS test date –To be confirmed.
