EIBFS Abu Dhabi campus graduated a new group of 11 UAE nationals (both males and females) from "Tawteen" program directed towards UAE nationals looking for employment in the insurance sector. They completed all the needed requirements to work directly for a number of insurance companies including Daman, Al Khazna Insurance companies, in addition to Al Hilal Takaful Co.
At the end of the training program, organized in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Tawteen council, a number of pioneering insurance companies in Abu Dhabi Emirate and with the support of the insurance authority, The graduation ceremony was attended by Rashid Al Katbi, chairman of Abu Dhabi Tawteen council, Jamal Al Jassmi, general manager of emirates institute for banking and financial studies, Saleh Omer, Abu Dhabi branch manager and a number of insurance companies representatives.
Jamal Al Jassmi thanked Abu Dhabi Tawteen council for their support to the program and their efforts to increase the Emiratization percentage in all sectors. He also thanked the insurance authority for their continuous cooperation and thanked the insurance companies for their concern to increase the emiratization percentage through providing empowerment opportunities for UAE nationals. In his speech, Al Jassmi congratulated the graduates wishing them every success in their new career.
He added that this batch represents a new addition to Emiratization within the general policy of the state, and the initiative of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan , Head of the state , to provide decent living for UAE nationals, and integrating them in the society as a productive workforce capable of productivity that can contribute to enhance the national economy. Al Jassmi called for the need for cooperation to achieve the emiratization goal.
He Required all insurance companies with law percentage to make use of this opportunity and increase their emiratization percentage. Ali Rashid Al Katbi assured that this group of graduates will set the example for others to effectively participate in enhancing their knowledge and skills in order to join the insurance sector which is one of the most important sectors driving the economy.
Al Katbi added that this initiative and graduation will represent a strong motive for other insurance companies to follow and shoulder their responsibilities in emiratization. It is worth mentioning that the emiratization rate in the insurance companies is about 5.86%, while there are about 196 branches for the insurance companies employing about (7507) employees (440) of them are UAE nationals. "Tawteen" program is a special preparatory training program designed to meet the needs of the insurance companies. |
